Proposal draft for the Allocation of 10M FLIX for Liquidity Provider Incentives

Overview

Liquidity is an essential aspect of any decentralized network, and it is crucial for the OmniFlix Hub ecosystem to have sufficient liquidity for the growth and success of the network. In this proposal, and as per the tokenomics an allocation of 10M FLIX tokens from the Community Bootstrapping Allocation is allocated towards liquidity provider incentives for the OmniFlix Hub. These incentives will help bootstrap liquidity on the network right from day 1, and will ultimately contribute to the growth and success of the network.

Proposal Details:

The proposed allocation of 10M FLIX tokens from the current reserve towards liquidity provider incentives will be used to incentivize liquidity providers on various DEXs like Osmosis, WYND, Crescent, Kujira, and more. Of these, the first set of incentives go live on Osmosis and further incentives will be discussed with respective DEX/protocol teams.

The exact distribution percentages will be decided based on the network's token economics and will be made available to the community before the distribution. Note that only a percentage of tokens will be utilized and the entire 10M FLIX budget will be spread out and will be used for incentives over a period of time.

Validators are requested to carefully review this proposal and provide feedback to the community on Commonwealth and Discord. Validators are also requested to participate in the voting process by choosing from the following options:

• Vote YES to agree with the proposal
• Vote NO to reject the ideas in the proposal
• Vote ABSTAIN to refrain from participation
• Vote NO WITH VETO if you see this as a harmful proposal to the future of the network.
